Orchester Ventuno
Founded in 2013, the Ventuno Orchestra is a young, professional chamber orchestra in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. The concern of the ensemble is to set new impulses for a gripping concert experience in the 21st century, to deal artistically with socially relevant topics and to bring classical music closer to children and young people with the education program "Klassik Kids - klingende Brücken".

With VJ Subrihanna, the ambient electronica project Red On uses image and sound as a shared moment, exploring the fluid boundaries between club, pop music and sound installation. The interplay of the elements creates a concert experience far from genres.
Hi, I'm Sophia Schulz. I'm a Cellist based in Nuremberg, Germany with a focus on interdisciplenary work and non-institutional new classical music.
Projects
Cellist Sophia Schulz combines diverse musical genres to create a unique sound, adapted to each ensemble she performs in. Trained as a classical musician at the Hochschule fur Musik Nuremberg with Prof. Markus Wagner, she completed her studies with a focus on Jazz with Prof. Steffen Schorn. Her special interest in interdisciplinary projects is reflected in her work with Theater Pfütze, nö theater and the dance company SETanztheater. Sophia Schulz is the founder of the new music ensemble Trio Vier and has been a board member of Orchester Ventuno since 2020.

The Trial
"Someone must have slandered Josef K., for without his having done anything wrong, he was arrested one morning."
This is how Franz Kafka's novel "The Trial" begins, and this is how K.'s stormy run against a judicial apparatus whose structures and rules are unidentifiable starts. For every single member of a society, it is possible to become K. himself at any time and unexpectedly.
The SETanztheater and Orchestra Ventuno occupy the entire stage with dance and music, and thus ensure that this process is conducted in the Tafelhalle Nuremberg, accessible to the public.

Pale ink, blue day
The jungeMET production deals with the Polish-Jewish doctor and educator Janusz Korczak. He ran the Dom Sierot orphanage under the most adverse conditions and established a way of dealing with children there that ultimately resulted in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. "Pale ink, blue day" combines new composition with drama, music and object theater, approaches the memories and stories in Dom Sierot and lets the inner life of the young residents emerge. The piece tells in poetic images of dignity and hope against the background of a decaying everyday life.

Against oblivion
A musical reading about Jewish life in Nuremberg during the Nazi era. Works by the Jewish composer Henriëtte Bosmans and Dimitri Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony in C minor complement texts by Jewish fellow citizens who documented their experiences in Nuremberg between 1920 and 1950. Together with the nö theater, the Ventuno Orchestra would like to make its artistic contribution to ensuring that Jewish history - especially during the Nazi era - is not forgotten, to making Jewish life in Nuremberg more visible and, at the same time, to expressly warning against the anti-Semitism that has been gaining strength in recent years.

Choreographic concert for string trio (vl, vlc, db) and electronica, an analog dancer and the digital SETanzcompagnie.
About 400 years ago, the musical form of the fugue emerged, a complicated mesh of several independently conducted voices. In "traffic" today, it is the pitfalls of digital streaming that stage all the musical and dance actors in a large fugue. To what extent is digital technology currently available to implement a digitalization of performing live art? How do digital possibilities change collaboration? Could the essential artistic exchange improve its sustainability record? The collective SETanztheater/Trio Miosko brings the international SETanzcompagnie (NL, GB, CUB) live and (almost) CO2-free to their performance venue, the Tafelhalle Nuremberg. The audience, the musicians and a solo dancer - physically present, to be experienced life-size. Around them, two-dimensional dancers - streamed live from their homes - as projections, on various displays. 3D and 2D interact, react.
Original compositions by the musicians Paul Bießmann, Stephan Goldbach and Sophia Schulz as well as works by J.S. Bach combine with the choreographies by Sebastian Eilers to form a fugue-like mesh.

LouLou & the Devil's Seduced
Freischütz, devil's pact, silver bullets and an outdated image of society. For the 200th anniversary of the premiere of Carl Maria v. Weber's opera "Der Freischütz", the two ensembles Duo LouLou and Trio Vier are working together to create their own take on the German national opera par excellence. In addition to arrangements of Franz Liszt's "Mephisto Waltz," Weber's "Freischütz" and Radiohead's "Creep," the focus of their exploration of the theme is above all the suite "Impact" by Norwegian composer Lars Andreas Haug, composed especially for this project. The two ensembles, performing in variable instrumentation and with scenic and textual set pieces, thus take a new look at a centuries-old theme that is at the same time red-hot.

Music as well as dance art live and develop through international exchange. Therefore artists travel and tour around the globe. But is this really necessary? The Trio Miosko and the SETanztheater have joined forces to explore the sustainability potential of their art. How far apart can musicians and dancers be in their interplay? To explore the possibilities of space and attendance they bring in an international dance company (NL, CH, GB, F) live and CO2-free to their performance venue. The audience, the musicians, a solo dancer - physically present, visible in life size. Around them two-dimensional dancers - streamed live from their home locations. 3D and 2D interacting, reacting.

Gesucht:Iphigenie
Musical theatrical concert based on the Greek tragedy by Euripides – A co-production with ensemble fraktale, the Gluck-Festspiele as well as the Stadttheater Fürth.
Iphigenia is the king's daughter and be married off. At least that is what she believes - and, expecting a good match, she follows the call of her beloved father and supreme commander to the camp of the battle fleet. But instead of being married she is to be sacrificed on an altar and must painfully realize that her own father has lured her into a trap: it is her, not an animal, who is to be sacrificed because the oracle demands it. Otherwise, there is no wind and the fleet cannot sail to war against the Trojan enemies.
Gesucht:Iphigenie places a young woman at the center of a world event. Iphigenia searches for her father - and for herself. Who is she, what is her place in the world? Should she surrender to her fate and achieve glory? Or refuse and incur the hatred of the land? What is more important: the will of the country or the life of a child?
